Service Description
Does your middle or high schooler love to create? Let's work with mud together and create a utilitarian body of work this summer! Full-time glassblower and ceramic artist, Jessie Oblon, is offering summer intensive classes for those interested in a deep dive into the world of clay. Her class covers how to mold, shape, and create in a positive and relaxed environment. At the end of the session, students should expect to feel more confident with ceramic processes and take home projects including coil pots, and wheel-thrown vessels with attached handles, spouts, lids, and more! No prior clay experience required. Classes are $250 per session, Mon-Fri 9am - 4pm, which includes all material costs. Session 1: June 23 - July 4 (rising 6-8th graders) Session 2: July 7 - 18 (rising 6-8th graders) Session 3: July 21 - August 1 (rising 9-12 graders) Session 4: August 4 - 15 (rising 9-12 graders) (Minimum of 6 students, maximum of 9 per session)
