Enjoy the beauty of Klondike Park on a nature hike, where participants will find inspiration to create a "plein air" painting. Kelly, an experienced outdoor guide, will lead a group of 10 students on a nature hike. They will search for a location together while Kelly further explains plein air painting. The Klondike Art Center will provide painting kits/portable supplies for the students to use during the hike. Afterwards, Kelly will facilitate a discussion about the participants' favorite artwork and their reasons for choosing it. Supplies will be $10 a person. For 11 people, that would be $110. This is a private group class for the Montessori Adolescent Program, to be held on Monday, May 20th, 2024 from 1-3pm.
